SAP and Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is changing the way that businesses are operating. Eric Schmidt of Google had suggested that cloud computing is all about putting data services and architecture on servers that would reside in the "cloud somewhere." The research agency, Gartner, went further and they assert that cloud computing has five critical qualities, including a pay as you go model, measurable through use, scalability, elasticity and be multi-tenanted. Cloud computing seems to have developed to assist all of the IT needs of a business through CRM and ERP applications offered by innovative companies like Salesforce, SAP and Oracle. Large businesses may, however, face challenges to cloud computing with these applications because some sections may be consumed from the cloud and some cannot.
