SAP’s Market Share in “Healthy Position”
SAP's market share is holding strong, according to a report by the market research firm Trefis. SAP, the business intelligence software provider is proclaimed to be in a "healthy position" as the global leader in business intelligence solutions. The company's leadership in the market is likely due to its upcoming release of a number of new SAP data management solutions, as well as SAP's popular ERP and CRM products. Competitors, including Microsoft, are experiencing losses in their customer base due to the attractiveness of SAP products. Interestingly, the market research firm Gartner also reported earlier this year that SAP is the global leader in business intelligence. Recently, however, Jim Hagmann Snabe and Bill McDermott became the co-CEOs of SAP, and both have been working hard to enhance the company's reputation.
