Direct Line Earthquake Update
Published: 15/09/08
After the earthquake that rumbled across the UK recently a Direct Line spokesman reassured their customers the very same morning that they could be assured their home insurance would cover them for any loss or damage it had caused.
He went on to say how Direct Line wanted, as always, to help their customers get back to the position they were in before the incident with as little inconvenience as possible. They have teams of staff available to deal with claims quickly and effectively, always happy to assist with any queries and get the customers back on track.
A couple of pointers were also offered by the Direct Line spokesman, including taking pictures of the damage since that is a great help for the claims teams and also not to throw any broken or damaged items away since they may well need to be looked at prior to the claim being completed.
