Lloyds TSB Insurance Claims Soar On Back Of Storms

Following the recent stormy weather that hit the UK Lloyds TSB reported an increase in insurance claims made of 150 percent over a normal day. Calls to the customer service centre were also up by well over half.
The view of the Lloyds TSB insurance department is that anyone thinking of calling in should initially check their policy to assess what is and is not covered. This will greatly aid both customer and call centre operative since a lot of the groundwork will have been done.
Further advice offered is to make sure all receipts for repairs that have been undertaken to make the property secure are kept. It is far easier, said Lloyds TSB, to work with receipts than to try and estimate what costs are acceptable for these jobs.
