Students need to look at security measures at their accommodation
Published: 19/11/09
Saga House Insurance is warning all students who live in rented accommodation to look at better security measures at their accommodation as they are becoming easy targets for thieves.
Their website gives all home insurance policyholders a free Student Survival Guide that can help reduce crimes made against students at university. The guide has been produced in conjunction with the National Union of Students, the Home Office and the Police.
Students when at university should think about how they can take steps to ensure the safety of their property and possession.
Students parents can also help by reminding them about being more security conscious so they don’t get burgled.
